Welcome to Pixel Me Up! This group was made to help pixel artists gain exposure for their hard work. The group has bloomed into a community where pixel artists and pixel art fans come together to share art.

To join us, click the "Join Our Group" button on the blue bar.

^{Watching the Group}

Since we have hundreds of active members, we know that your inbox can get crammed with their art. You can choose to unwatch deviations from us at any time by either selecting the arrow on the top right of a deviation that was sent to you and hitting "Unwatch Deviations from Pixel-Me-Up," or you can click the light green "Watching" box at the top right of this page and uncheck the "Deviations" box.

^{Rules for Submitting Art}

•Keep the submissions PG-13. Meaning no nudity and intense gore.

•There is a maximum of three submissions a week, so be sure to show us your best!

•Be sure to submit to the right folder. If not, your deviation will be declined.

•Please be patient when submitting a deviation. An admin has to approve it before it can be added to the gallery.

^{What is pixel art?}

Pixel art is a sub-category of digital art. Pixel art is set apart from other digital art forms by its focus on control and precision. The artist has to be in control of the image at the level of the single pixel, and every pixel should be purposefully placed.

Pixel art is artwork build up pixel by pixel. As long as they are clear to see without zooming it should be ok!
Do note not everything build up using pixels is pixel art. For example, while build up without transparancy or aliasing, artwork like this is not allowed into the group:
